The Process
The Journey
Every Raden piece follows the same path, from a stone formed over millions of years to a finished heirloom placed in your hands. Eight stages, each done by hand, none of them rushed.
Discovering the stone
It begins underground. We search the world for a gemstone worth building a lifetime around, judged on rarity, origin, and the way it holds light. Nothing else can start until the right stone is found.
Designing around it
Nothing is forced onto the stone. The design grows outward from its character and proportion, so the finished piece could never have existed around any other gem.
CAD
The vision becomes precise. Every angle, prong, and gallery is modeled in three dimensions and refined before a single gram of metal is touched.
Wax
The design takes physical form in carved wax, the first time the piece can be held, weighed, and adjusted by hand.
Casting
Molten gold or platinum is cast into the mold. Fire and metal give the piece its permanence.
Setting
Each stone is set by hand under magnification. These are the most exacting hours in the entire process, and the ones that decide how the piece will catch the light forever.
Finishing
Polishing, texturing, and final detailing bring the surface to life and the piece to its full brilliance.
Presentation
The finished heirloom is presented in person. This is the moment the art of the Earth becomes yours to wear, to cherish, and one day to pass on.
